Exhibition art bytes

art bytes displays two kinds of works of art: on the one hand, there are works which treat art as an information store - as archive or data base - and works which resemble search engines, store art or whose handling of information manifests itself as an artistic statement.

On the other hand, there are works which translate the achievements that Media Art proclaims for itself into traditional forms of expression - video and installations. This raises the provocative question of the fields of thought which Media Art claims for itself. Watch out: Art Bites!
